Both innkeepers of the Meadowlark Inn, a Brattleboro, Vermont bed and breakfast inn , are graduates of the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and committed to making your first meal a highlight in your day!

All our specialties are prepared with fresh local produce in season whenever possible. We have seen the farmer boil down the maple syrup, offer cheeses from local herds and know the chickens that lay eggs for your breakfast!

We grow organic vegetables and edible flower garnishes in our own gardens for the breakfast plates. If you wake up early during the season you will see us harvesting for the entrees du jour.

We offer two hot entrees every morning, in addition to our own baked goods, fruit plate, sausage, ham or bacon, juice and serve Mocha Joe's locally roasted free trade coffee and a wide variety of teas. We especially enjoy making Danish pastry, old fashioned cinnamon buns, palmiers, flaky scones and treasured family recipes for mouth watering coffee cakes. Many guests return to the Meadowlark Inn’s Southern Vermont lodging hoping to awaken to the aromas coming from the kitchen.

Coffee and tea service is available to enjoy on one of our porches or by the fire to help you ease into the day.

We will happily prepare special meals for vegan/vegetarian, low carbohydrate, gluten free, low fat, restricted or other special diets with advanced notice.
